Proceeds for A Night For Heroes
Proceeds from A Night for Heroes are an investment in vital, lifesaving work at UF Health Jacksonville, in our community and across the region.
This annual event has enabled many significant improvements at UF Health Jacksonville, including:
- Armeo Spring Pro: A cutting-edge rehabilitation device for upper limb motor function.
- Molecular Adsorbent Recirculating System (MARS): A therapy system aiding liver function in critical conditions.
- Family Room and Waiting Area Renovations: Upgrades to waiting areas and private consultation rooms in the trauma center.
- Communications and Dispatch Center Updates: Enhancements to the dispatch center and flight crew sleeping quarters.
- TraumaOne Staff in Schools: Our staff takes the TraumaOne SUV to schools across 30 counties in the community and region to educate them on safety and injury prevention.
- Trauma Helicopter Upgrades: Outfitted new helicopters in Lake City, St. Augustine, and Yulee.
- ICU Stretcher Chairs: Improved patient comfort in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
- Car Safety Initiative: Pediatric hyperthermia prevention efforts.
- Specialized Equipment: The purchase of in-line fluid warmers, endoscopy tools, portable ultrasounds, and ventilators for the Trauma Center, intensive care units, and TraumaOne helicopters.
- Simulation Training: The purchase of training simulators for medical staff on ECMO.
- Operating Room Upgrades: New FT10 generators for various specialties.
